I Am @Youth.SG www.youth.sg

okay. What comes to your mind when i first mention this word YOUTH? Some may interpret them as the time when one starts exploring things beyond themselves. Some believe that youth has got to with being active, inparticularly when it comes to sports. Others may agree to the fact that youths are seen as those who make an effort to strive for what they want. In actual fact, youth stuggles real hard to find their ultimate goals in life.
What exactly is the meaning of youth? If you were to have it based on the dictionary's meaning, it would refer to the period of life between childhood and maturity. However, in my opinion, youths has indeed got to do with being active. youths are indeed much capable of accomplishing greater heights.Youths are the future world leaders. I personally feel that being a youth is actually going through a process whereby we are slowly maturing into adulthood.I strongly believe that being a youth is something worthy to be proud of. If you were to ask someone who is way past the age of being a youth, they would most probably tell you that many memorable memories were created during thier process of being a youth. For instance their first love etc. In the eyes of these people, they would really wish to return back to being a youth. However, Money too cannot buy you back youth. once time flies, it can never be turned back. Not even with money. The same concept applies, money too cannot buy you happiness, it can only buy you materialistic things. but does that make you a happier person? i presume not. Why not try questioning thoses multi-millionaire's? I believe they are not as happy as us youths. Many tend to have the believe that youths are known to be trouble free, but how true exactly is it?
I would most probably disagree with this statement. In my opinion, everyone have their own personal problem. It is the degree of it that makes it seem different. Of course, naturally, the problems faced by an adult would be harsher, unlike those of a youth. an adult would probably face materialistic probelms or even home domestical problems, on the contrary, youths would face problems in school, in their work etc. However, despite all these problems faced, i would definitely still say that it is great being a youth. Being a youth gives you many entitlements. A youth doesn't have to worry about earning for a living, all they need to do is go to school, enjoy the process of making new friends, excel in their studies and create many other memorable memories that will last them for eternity. Simple things like catching a movie with your friends can also jot down many wonderful beautiful memories. I feel bliss to be saying that i am enjoying this process in my life. And i strongly believe that every singaporean youth, or rather youths around the world are loving this process! youths around the world rock on!
